Mike Dessert

Mike Dessert is a current student at Charis Bible College Colorado, having begun studies in August 2023. Previously, Mike Desert took a sabbatical focused on Biblical Studies from March to August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Sales Engineering for CyberSecurity and Identity Management Technology at Okta, Inc. from October 2019 to March 2023, where Mike acted as a Senior Advisor for Sales Engineering. Earlier roles include a sabbatical in 2019, IT Director and Chief IT Architect at General Motors from December 2001 to February 2019, Consulting in Business Development at Netscape Communications from 1997 to 2001, and Chief Technologist at Electronic Data Systems from 1985 to 1997. Mike Dessert earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan between 1978 and 1983.
