Melanie Schloemer

Melanie Schloemer is an experienced educator and tutor with a diverse background in instructional roles across various educational institutions. Currently serving as an Adult Services Sub at Greene County Public Library since March 2019, Melanie also works as a Substitute Teacher at Legacy Christian Academy and Ashland Christian School, providing instruction for pre-K through 8th grade. Additionally, Melanie has been a Private Tutor through WyzAnt Tutoring since August 2014, focusing on elementary and middle school subjects, particularly phonics. Previous roles include Human Resources Specialist at Ashland University and Assistant Director for Student Services at Virginia Tech, where Melanie advised students on job search techniques. Melanie holds a Master's degree in Education-Special Services from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from West Virginia University.
