Cyrus is currently Chairman of Citigroup Global Markets, OakNorth Bank, and a senior adviser at Alvarez and Marsal. Previously, he was Board Chair of the International Finance Facility for Immunisation (IFFIm), supporting GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, and Chair of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA).
In 2000 Cyrus joined Barclays Capital where he had a variety of senior roles before becoming Vice Chairman of Barclays and head of EU and UK Public Policy and Government Relations. Prior to Barclays, he held senior positions in BNP Paribas and at the World Bank.
Cyrus is a 40 year veteran of capital markets and architect of the world's first euro-denominated bond.
