Toby Walter has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Toby began their career in 1994 as a Senior in the Financial Markets Division at Arthur Andersen & Co. Toby then moved to Rothschild & Co. as a Manager in 1998. In 1999, they joined Halifax as Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking and Head of Strategy and eBusiness, Treasury and Wholesale Banking. In 2012, they became a Non Executive Director at Kameleon. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Non Executive Director at Charity Bank and was responsible for providing advice and guidance across a wide range of banking related topics. In 2017, they joined HSBC as Global Head of Client Experience, Sales and Collaboration, Global Private Bank and Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy, Global Private Bank. Toby increased the Global Private Bank's NNM by 160% and PBT by 15%. Toby then joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2001 and held various roles, including Director of Home Insurance, Director of the Group Chief Executive's Office, Managing Director of Head of Portfolio and Managing Director of Leveraged Finance. In 2022, they became the Chief Transformation Officer at Lowell.

Toby Walter studied at St Olave's Grammar School from 1983 to 1990. Toby then attended Durham University from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in Physics. From 1993 to 1997, they attended ICAEW and obtained a Chartered Accountant degree in Accounting. In December 1997, Toby Walter obtained an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) certification from the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES. Toby also holds a Securities Representative certification from the SFA.
