Lea Prince

Lea Prince has a strong background in impact ratings and methodology. From 2022 to the present, they have served as the VP of Impact Ratings at Charity Navigator, leading the efforts to drive forward the Impact & Results Beacon. In this role, they launched the organization's first ratings of nonprofit impact, allowing donors to find nonprofits making significant progress in their causes. Prior to their current position, Lea was the Director of Impact Ratings Methodology at Charity Navigator from February 2022 to June 2022.

Before joining Charity Navigator, Lea worked at Stanford University as a Research Economist from January 2014 to February 2022.

Lea Prince holds a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis, which was completed in 2014. Prior to that, Lea obtained a Master's degree in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco in 2006. Lea also has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which was earned in 1996.
