Sean Poole has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Sean started as an International Program Assistant at Invisible Children Inc. in 2008. Sean then worked as a Resettlement Intern at the International Rescue Committee from 2009 to 2010. Sean returned to Invisible Children Inc. in 2010 and held roles such as Programs Coordinator, Central Africa and Program Manager & Technical Advisor. From 2014 to 2018, they served as the Director of International Programs & Director of USAID-Funded Projects at Invisible Children Inc., managing community development and sustainability programs across multiple countries. In 2018, Sean co-founded Sunday Beer Co. and was involved in the company. Sean also had a consulting role during that time. Most recently, they joined charity: water, first as a Senior Portfolio Manager from 2019 to 2021, then as the Head of Programs from 2021 to 2023, and currently as the Director of Programs and Strategic Initiatives.

Sean Poole completed a Master of Science degree in International Development Economics from SOAS University of London. Sean also pursued Turkiye Coursework at Michigan State University in Istanbul. Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Point Loma Nazarene University.
