Adam Barnes

Adam Barnes serves as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Charles Darwin University, focusing on the Masters of Dietetics and Masters of Nutrition courses since February 2022. Concurrently, Adam holds the position of Principal Policy Officer at the Department of Health NT, contributing expertise in Environmental Health and previously in Prevention and Wellbeing and Health Improvement. Adam's extensive experience encompasses roles such as Departmental Liaison Officer for the NT Health Ministers Office and Primary Health Care Outreach Manager at Top End Health Service. Additionally, Adam has worked as a Dietitian/Public Health Nutritionist and held various positions within the Department of Health NT and Menzies School of Health Research. Adam holds a Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Nutrition from UNSW.
