Kate Bailey

Kate Bailey has a diverse work experience in the retail and wholesale industry. Kate began their career as a Seasonal Assistant Manager at John Ball Zoo in 2015. From there, they moved up to the position of Assistant Retail Manager, where they focused on maintaining customer service and making buying decisions. Additionally, Kate served as the Chairman of the Sustainability Committee at John Ball Zoo, leading a team to achieve sustainability goals. Currently, they are working as a Regional Sales Manager at Charles Products, Inc., where they are responsible for providing custom and stock souvenirs to various tourist attractions.

Kate Bailey completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Grand Valley State University. Kate attended this institution from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Incident Command System from FEMA in September 2018, Ordained Wedding Officiant from the Universal Life Church in December 2017, Certified Tourism Ambassador, City of Grand Rapids from the Certified Tourism Ambassador™ (CTA) Program in November 2014, Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) from AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in April 2017, Sensory Inclusive Initiative Trained from KultureCity in March 2019, and First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in April 2017.
