Matt Ahrens

Matt Ahrens is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in forensic services and security engineering. Currently serving as Vice President and Principal of Forensic Services at Charles River Associates since April 2019, Ahrens previously held the role of Security Engineer at Coalition and Vice President at Crypsis Group, where Ahrens was a founding team member and practice lead. Earlier positions include Vice President of Technology Integration and Director of Security Assessments at GuidePoint Security, where Ahrens developed tailored security assessment programs. Ahrens also contributed to IT security as Senior Manager at LivingSocial and as Senior Security Engineer at NeuStar. With a background that includes leadership roles in incident management and consulting, Ahrens holds a BS in IT from George Mason University.
