Susan Competello

Susan Competello is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, investigations, and counterterrorism. Currently serving as Vice President and Principal at Charles River Associates since May 2019, Susan previously held the position of Managing Director in the Global Risk and Investigations Practice at FTI Consulting, where responsibilities included guiding clients through complex business challenges in investigations, litigation, and regulatory issues. Prior to that, Susan spent eight years at Morgan Stanley as Vice President of Corporate Investigations/Due Diligence, focusing on international risk management. Susan also served as a founding member and Sergeant in the NYPD Counter Terrorism Division, contributing to strategic threat analysis and emergency management. Early career experience includes roles as a Police Officer, Detective, and Sergeant at the NYPD.
