Liesbeth Weites-Op Den Camp

Liesbeth Weites-Op den Camp is a highly experienced technical specialist at Charles River Laboratories since September 2025, previously serving as a senior technician at MIMETAS from October 2023 to September 2025. With an extensive background as an assistant scientist at Janssen Vaccines Leiden from May 2005 to October 2023, Liesbeth has expertise in traditional and quantitative PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, cell-based potency assays, ELISA, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Additional skills include maintaining up-to-date procedures, cell culture, lab management, ordering, assay/lab transfers, continuous improvements, and proficiency with Tecan pipetting robots, LIMS, and NuGenesis. Liesbeth also held the position of course leader at Avans+ from September 2015 to June 2017, leading a two-day course on the basics of PCR techniques.
