Melanie Rheaume

Melanie Rheaume is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in external reporting and technical accounting. Currently serving as Director of External Reporting and Technical Accounting at Charles River Laboratories since November 2021, Rheaume's prior roles include VP Accounting Advisory Senior Manager and VP Corporate Reporting Senior Manager at Citizens from September 2014 to November 2021, as well as Senior Analyst in External Reporting at Covidien. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Accountant at Reit Management and Research LLC, Associate in Audit at KPMG, and Fund Accountant at State Street. Rheaume holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Providence College.
