Ray Jui-Tung Liu is a Research Scientist and Toxicology Study Director at Charles River Laboratories since May 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Technology Transfer Specialist at the MUSC Foundation for Research Development from January 2019 to May 2021, where responsibilities involved evaluating patentability of novel technologies, generating summaries for licensing, and promoting research inventions. Liu also held the position of Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Medical University of South Carolina from February 2016 to May 2021, focusing on high-throughput phenotypic screening and improving genome-editing efficiency. Earlier, as a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University from August 2011 to December 2015, research concentrated on the effects of heavy metal arsenic on neuronal and muscle development. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from Clemson University and degrees in Environmental Toxicology and Environmental Engineering from National Taiwan University.
