Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz

Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz is a highly respected leader in the field of financial literacy and corporate philanthropy, currently serving as the Director on the Board of Directors at Charles Schwab. Since joining Charles Schwab in 1983, Carrie has held numerous leadership roles, including Board Chair and President of the Charles Schwab Foundation, where initiatives to promote financial literacy and community engagement have thrived. Carrie is also an accomplished author and syndicated personal finance columnist, known for the bi-weekly "Ask Carrie" column that offers valuable financial guidance. Beyond their work at Charles Schwab, Carrie held significant leadership positions at Schwab Charitable and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and contributed to national financial education efforts as a member of the Presidential Advisory Councils on Financial Capability and Financial Literacy during two different administrations. Educationally, Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA in Marketing from The George Washington University.
