Jon Mcmahon

Jon McMahon is a Managing Director and Head of Business Excellence for Schwab Asset Management. Mr. McMahon is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical business plans and leading key initiatives to maintain and build investment management functions. In addition, Mr. McMahon foresees changes and opportunities within the areas of financial innovation, disruptive technology and an evolving regulatory environment, and will develop plans to proactively address them. Mr. McMahon also oversees programs that maintain workforce resilience and productivity and preserve company culture.

Before joining Schwab, Mr. McMahon spent 13 years at Fidelity Investments, most recently as vice president of strategy and planning where he was responsible for developing and executing strategies for high priority initiatives within workplace investing and across the enterprise. Prior to that, he was a management consultant in the financial services industry, having worked at Oliver Wyman and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Mr. McMahon earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from Boston College, Carroll School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in biology and psychology from Middlebury College.
