Lu Chi

Lu Chi is an experienced professional in risk analytics and modeling, specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence. From October 2020 to August 2022, Lu held the position of Senior Manager at Charles Schwab, following a previous role as Manager in the same department, both focusing on advanced analytical techniques. Prior to Charles Schwab, Lu worked at Halliburton as a Principal Scientist in Physics, leading R&D for innovative pulsed-neutron logging tools. Additional experience includes a role as Research Scientist and Petrophysicist at iRock Technologies, where Lu applied expertise in machine learning and petrophysics, and a research assistantship at Texas A&M University during PhD studies in Petroleum Engineering. Early career experience also includes an internship at ConocoPhillips, focusing on petrophysical technology. Lu holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Material Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
