Kenneth C. Austin

Ken Austin is a managing investment director who focuses on hedge funds and portfolio risk management. A Michigan native, he came to Mott in 2012 from Indus Capital Partners in New York City. Austin is a graduate of Western Michigan University (WMU), where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree while majoring in finance and Asian studies. While enrolled at WMU, Austin studied for a year at Nanjing University in China. He is proficient in conversational Mandarin. Austin also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School in New York City. He has worked as a financial analyst at Capital One Financial and as an investment analyst at Millgate Capital (where he became a partner) and Indus Capital Partners.
