Debbie Wheeler

Debbie Wheeler has held a leadership position as Manager of Academic Skills at Charles Sturt University since October 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of language, literacy, and numeracy skills in course design and delivery. Debbie also serves as the ELLaN Lead and previously worked as the ALLaN Faculty Liaison for Education, focusing on embedding academic literacies within the Faculty of Arts. Prior experience includes a decade at Higher Colleges of Technology, where Debbie managed educational programs and staff. Debbie's academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Educational Studies from The University of Queensland, a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Leicester, and various diplomas and certificates in management, educational technology, and adult language, literacy, and numeracy practice.
