Faith Valencia-Forrester

Faith Valencia-Forrester (PhD) currently holds the position of Academic Lead (Work-integrated Learning) at Charles Sturt University, having joined in November 2022. Prior to this role, Faith served as Director of the Service Learning Unit and Lecturer in various media-related subjects at Griffith University from June 2010 to November 2022. Experience also includes directing and producing for Under The Bridge Media Pty Ltd from 2012 to 2015, and producing for The Wire - Independent Current Affairs and 4BC between 2010 and 2012. Faith has worked with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in various capacities, including producer and traffic broadcaster. Educational qualifications include a PhD in University-led Inclusive Work-integrated Learning in Journalism Education, a Master's in Media Production (Hons), and multiple degrees from Queensland University of Technology, encompassing disciplines such as Law, Communication, and International Business.
