Lewis Bizo

Lewis A. Bizo serves as the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business, Justice, and Behavioural Sciences at Charles Sturt University since July 2022. Previously, Bizo held the position of Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney from February 2020 to June 2022. Bizo has extensive academic experience, including roles as Professor of Psychology and Head of School at the University of New England (AU) from January 2015 to February 2020, and as Associate Professor and Head of School of Psychology at the University of Waikato from July 2009 to December 2014. Earlier career milestones include serving as Associate Professor and Head of Discipline of Psychology at Southern Cross University, Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of School of Psychology at the University of Southampton, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Arizona State University. Bizo earned a PhD in Psychology from the University of Otago, where Bizo also completed a Postgraduate Diploma and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
