Amanda Albright

Amanda Albright is an experienced law enforcement professional with a robust background in corrections and social services. Currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff and Detention Deputy Recruitment Specialist at the Charleston County Sheriff's Office since July 2013, Amanda handles the custody and supervision of inmates while also leading recruitment efforts through various marketing initiatives. From July 2012 to January 2013, Amanda worked as a Social Service Coordinator at Pioneer Human Services, focusing on job placement for diverse job seekers, including ex-offenders. Prior roles include Classification Caseworker and Correctional Officer with the South Carolina Department of Corrections, where Amanda managed inmate classifications, security, and ensured compliance with safety standards. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, both obtained from Charleston Southern University.
