Eric Pohlman, CNU-A, AICP, currently serves as the West Ashley Project Coordinator for the City of Charleston since June 2018, where responsibilities include staffing the West Ashley Revitalization Commission, creating agendas, tracking budgets, and coordinating the implementation of Plan West Ashley. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Planner for the Town of Mount Pleasant and Planner for Berkeley County, where tasks involved site plan reviews, zoning assistance, and managing historical district applications. Earlier professional experience encompasses positions in urban design and planning with organizations such as Traemand Installation Services, IKEA Group, and the Florida Center for Community Design+Research. Eric Pohlman holds a Master of Urban and Community Design from the University of South Florida and two degrees from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
