Mitsuko Flynn has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Mitsuko started their career as a Cello Instructor at Leading Kids Academy in 2013 and later worked as a Cello Instructor and Chamber Music Coordinator at Montclair State University Preparatory Division from 2013 to 2015. From 2014 to 2015, Mitsuko also worked as a Site Coordinator at Paterson Music Project. Mitsuko then joined Charleston Symphony Orchestra and held various roles such as Development Coordinator from 2015 to 2017 and Director of Education and Community Engagement from 2017 to the present. Mitsuko is currently serving as the Director of Education and Business Operations at Charleston Symphony Orchestra since 2023. Mitsuko also serves as a Board Member at Allegro Charter School of Music since 2022.

Mitsuko Flynn's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at Montclair State University. Mitsuko pursued a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Violoncello and completed their studies in 2012. After that, from 2012 to 2014, Mitsuko pursued further education at Montclair State University and obtained an Artist's Diploma in Cello Performance. More recently, in 2022, they attended The Global Leaders Institute and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Arts Innovation in 2023.
