Kimberly Pereira has a strong background in dance education and community engagement, with experience at various organizations including Charlotte Ballet and the United States Department of Defense. Kimberly has held roles such as Director of Education and Community Engagement, Education Manager, and Education Coordinator. Kimberly also served as a Family Readiness Support Assistant, supporting military events and maintaining confidentiality. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from SUNY Brockport, Kimberly has a passion for arts education and supporting diverse communities.

Charlotte Ballet
Founded in 1970, Charlotte Ballet is known for its strong dancers and versatile repertoire, ranging from classical ballet to bold, contemporary works. The company’s professional dancers annually present performances in Charlotte, N.C., during a season spanning from October to May. Hope Muir has served as Artistic Director since 2017. Charlotte Ballet Academy trains 700 students annually and the company has nationally recognized educational and community programs. Charlotte Ballet operates the Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance in uptown Charlotte.
