Katherine Palmer serves as the Senior Director of Education and Community Engagement at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum since July 2023. With extensive experience in education and music, Katherine has been a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University since August 2014, developing and teaching multiple music courses. Prior to this role, Katherine was the Curator of Education at the Musical Instrument Museum from September 2012 to June 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing educational programming and curriculum development. Additional positions held include Clarinetist for the Mill Ave Chamber Players, Adjunct Faculty at Maricopa Community Colleges, Executive Director of the Daraja Music Initiative, and a Gretsch Music Fellow at the Fred Rogers Institute. Katherine boasts an educational background with a Doctor of Musical Arts, a Master of Arts in Ethnomusicology, a Master of Music in Clarinet, and a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet with a minor in Anthropology, all from Arizona State University and the University of Miami.
