For more than 50 years, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy has been a champion for those in need, providing legal representation to people who can't afford it, but desperately need it. No one is guaranteed an attorney in civil matters, even when one's safety, security and stability are at stake. Without legal representation in civil matters, thousands of families lose access to financial security, health care, housing and opportunity. Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy also provides committed advocacy on behalf of clients, resulting in policy changes at the local and national level that provide positive outcomes and empower all people to increase economic mobility and opportunity.
