Sarah McIntyre is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. With a strong background in public health advocacy, Sarah has transitioned from managing the NC Medicaid Ombudsman program to expanding case handling within the organization's Public Benefits Unit. Prior experience includes roles as Medicaid Managed Care Ombudsman, where assistance was provided to North Carolina Medicaid recipients during the transition to managed care, and a significant contribution as a Legal Intern for the COVID-19 Unemployment Insurance Response Project. Sarah's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Appalachian State University, where recognition included the Resident Assistant of the Year award. Additionally, Sarah has diversified experience in office management and youth program facilitation.
