Alec Ballard

Alec Ballard, MHA, currently serves as the Behavioral Health Business Unit Manager at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital since July 2023. Prior to this role, Alec was an Administrative Fellow at Hartford HealthCare from June 2022 to July 2023 and worked as an Experience Specialist at UnityPoint Clinic from January 2022 to May 2022. Alec gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant and Administrative Intern in the Operations Track at University of Iowa Health Care from June 2020 to May 2021, and as a Marketing and Business Development Intern at UnityPoint Health from September 2017 to February 2020. Additional early career experience includes a marketing internship with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Iowa Chapter. Alec holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Iowa and has completed undergraduate studies at Iowa State University across both the Ivy College of Business and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
