Ashley Smalls is an experienced professional in the library and education sectors, currently serving as a Reference Librarian at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library since March 2020, after holding positions as a Senior Library Assistant and Library Aide. Prior experience includes working as an Educator in Special Education at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from August 2016 to January 2020. Ashley is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree at UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business, and holds a Master of Library & Information Science from North Carolina Central University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in English from Winston-Salem State University.
