Donnie Penix

Donnie Penix has extensive experience with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, serving since July 1997. Currently a Police Sergeant with the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT), Donnie has also held roles as a SWAT Officer and Sniper, demonstrating proficiency in high-pressure situations. Earlier in the career, Donnie worked as a Patrol Officer, involving responsibilities as a Community Coordinator and Bike Officer within the David-2 Patrol Division. Additionally, from July 2011 to March 2013, Donnie served as a Detective within VCAT, further showcasing expertise in crime apprehension and investigation.
