Richard Gladden

Richard Gladden is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a School Resource Officer with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department since February 2017. In this role, Richard acts as a liaison between the CMPD and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, demonstrating strong investigative and communication skills. Previously, Richard worked as a Police Officer, where responsibilities included preparing legal documents, conducting criminal investigations, and ensuring compliance with various laws while managing high-stress situations. Before joining the police department, Richard held the position of Project Manager at CRDN of Greater Charlotte, focusing on property damage insurance claims and fostering relationships to enhance business operations. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science from East Carolina University, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
