Adam Kelley

Adam Kelley currently serves as the Dean of Students at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Adam was the Middle School Director at Charlotte Lab School and held various leadership roles, including School Principal at Christ Classical Academy of Charlotte and Dean of Students at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Adam's experience also includes positions as Dean of Students at Cabarrus County Schools, Assistant Principal at AIKEN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT and Airport High School, and Art Instructor at Lexington County School District One and Gilbert High School. Adam's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, both from the University of South Carolina. Additionally, Adam was involved in youth ministry as the Director of Youth Ministry at St. Michael's Lutheran Church.
