Candace Salmon-Hosey

Candace Salmon-Hosey, Ed.D., is an experienced educational technology leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since January 2022. Prior to this role, Candace held various leadership positions, including Executive Director of Technology Services for Guilford County School System and Executive Director of Information Technology for Durham Public Schools. Candace also served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Director of Technology Services and Career Technical Education for Rowan-Salisbury Schools, and in another Executive Director role for Media & Technology Services and CTE at Alamance Burlington School System. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education and Specialist in Education, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
