Jennifer Butler

Jennifer Butler is a Teaching Professional at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, having enrolled in the CMS Teaching Residency in 2023. Prior to this, Jennifer held various significant roles at Charter Communications from 2006 to 2023, including Senior Marketing Manager for Spectrum News 1, where responsibilities involved developing marketing strategies for multiple television news markets in North Carolina and ensuring creative deliverables aligned with brand standards. In earlier positions, Jennifer served as Executive Producer for TWC News Charlotte, managing production teams and overseeing scriptwriting, as well as working as an Account Executive at Rountree Group Inc, where account coordination and media relations were key functions. Additionally, Jennifer gained experience as an Associate Producer at CNN, coordinating live shots and managing video selection for news production. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earned in 2001.
