Mandy Sayer

Mandy Sayer currently serves as the Assistant Finance Officer at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Mandy held multiple senior positions at Truist, including Managing Director for Finance, HR, and Legal Audit, and Managing Director of Audit Services from October 2022 to December 2023. With extensive experience in compliance and internal auditing, Mandy worked at TIAA from March 2014 to October 2022, serving as Senior Director of Compliance Risk Management and previously as Director of Internal Audit, where responsibilities included directing a team of fourteen employees and overseeing audit projects aligned with corporate strategies. Mandy’s career also includes positions at Neenah Paper as Director of Internal Audit, Protiviti as Senior Manager, and PricewaterhouseCoopers as Associate and Senior Associate. An educator as well, Mandy served as a Professor of Practice at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2017 to 2018. Mandy holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Georgia Southern University.
