Miranda Smith is an experienced educator currently serving as a third-grade teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since August 2020. Previously, Miranda was an English Teaching Assistant with the Fulbright Program in Malaysia for three months, a position that was cut short due to COVID-19. Miranda also worked as a long-term substitute teacher at Dutchess BOCES in a self-contained Kindergarten classroom and gained tutoring experience as a Sociology Teaching Fellow at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
