Ed Lucas is an experienced professional in track operations and event management. Currently serving as Track Operations Manager at Charlotte Motor Speedway since December 2013, Ed oversees logistics for corporate event rentals, collaborates with the operations team, and focuses on fan engagement. Previously, Ed held the position of Operations Supervisor at Iowa Events Center from July 2012 to December 2013, supervising operations staff. Ed also worked as a Track Services Intern at Charlotte Motor Speedway in early 2012, assisting with logistical coordination. Earlier career experience includes serving as Administrative Chief with the United States Marine Corps from 2007 to 2009. Ed holds a B.S. in Sports and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina and furthered education at CSB Media Arts Center from 2016 to 2017.
