Towanda Long, APR has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Towanda began their career at ABC Television as a Sales Assistant, where they gained valuable knowledge in national media advertising. Towanda then moved on to Landor Associates, a global branding and design company, where they worked as a Project Coordinator and gained experience in working with key client accounts. Towanda's passion for branding continued to grow as they joined Shamrock Technologies, Inc. as the first dedicated Communications person, where they developed and implemented communication strategies for both internal and external audiences. Towanda'snext role was at EisnerAmper, where they served as the first in-house Communications Associate and created and executed their annual communications plan. Towanda then joined Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company as the Director of Marketing, overseeing strategic communications and collaborating with various departments on branding and communications campaigns. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Chief Content Writer for WritingsOfAWanderlust.com and FoodIsALoveLanguage.com, where they continue to utilize their skills in content creation.
