Katherine B. Slayton

Katherine B. Slayton is an experienced educator currently serving as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Charlotte Preparatory School since August 2014, during which time Katherine has also assumed roles as Interim Head of Lower School and Director of Curriculum, as well as a Humanities Instructor. Prior to this position, Katherine worked at League Academy of Communication Arts from March 2011 to June 2014, teaching 6th and 8th Grade English Language Arts and Literature. Katherine holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Middle Level English from Converse University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and History from Wofford College.
