Curtis Hughes

Curtis Hughes currently serves as the Membership Co-chair for the Advisory Board of CharlotteCIO and has extensive experience as an international speaker, addressing topics such as digital transformation and employee engagement for over 15 years. As the Chief Information Officer of Midrex Technologies from 2017 to 2024, Curtis was responsible for executing the company's global digital strategy. Curtis co-founded C5 Insight and led it as Managing Partner until 2016, while also founding StreamLogic, Inc., and serving as Senior Information Architect at Theodor Wille Intertrade. Previous roles include Programmer/Analyst at National Diagnostics, Inc., and Application Developer at Synapse Technology. Curtis holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed the Executive Leadership Institute at Queens University of Charlotte.
