Nina-Suzanne Groeneveld

Nina-Suzanne Groeneveld is a PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC, involved in the I-PACE kids study focused on improving the diagnosis of encephalitis. Holding a Master of Science from the University of Amsterdam, Nina-Suzanne has gained extensive experience as a medical intern, engaging in clinical rotations in pediatric intensive care and research roles in various studies including the COVID KIDS and OPTIMACT trials. Additional experience includes positions as a semi-physician in pediatrics and as a research assistant in neurology. Nina-Suzanne also has a background in childcare as a nanny with Nannies at Night and Charly Cares, and has worked as a healthcare worker and nurse. Nina-Suzanne received a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from the University of Amsterdam and completed VWO at Lorentz Casimir Lyceum.
