Alden Ahlholm has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2012. From 2012-2014, they worked as a Process Development and Test Engineer Co-op at Infinium Metals. From 2013-2015, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where they conducted research on laminar flame propagation and burning speeds of gaseous and liquid fuels. From 2014-2017, they worked as a Project Engineer Co-op at Dyna Segmen, where they led project planning, costing, and execution focused in upstream and downstream oil and gas. From 2015-2022, they worked at LB Foster as a Field Applications Engineer, where they traveled to customer sites to size and install vibration resistant fasteners and switch rollers, worked intimately to deploy two new product lines, responded to customer quality issues to diagnose and rectify product failures in the field, produced 2D and 3D drawings to match customer specifications prior to material production, reduced work changeovers by developing new product naming conventions, and developed and tested the variant configuration module in SAP for insulated joint production prior to SAP go live. Alden has been employed at Charm Industrial since 2022 as a Mechanical Engineer.

Alden Ahlholm holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, obtained between 2010 and 2015. Alden also holds a Certified Solidworks Professional certification.
