Samuel Faucher has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific and engineering fields. From 2013-2014, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Yale University. From 2014-2015, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the National University of Singapore, where they investigated the synthesis of functionalized metal organic frameworks for carbon dioxide capture. In 2015, they were a Regenerative Medicine Intern at United Therapeutics. From 2016-2018, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they focused on nanomaterials research with applications to energy and the environment. In 2018, they were a Technical Consultant for both Merck and Woodside Energy. Currently, they are a Scientist at Orca Sciences and an Engineering Consultant at Charm Industrial.
Samuel Faucher attended Boise High School from 2009 to 2012. Samuel then attended Yale University from 2012 to 2016, earning a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Following this, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2018, earning a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering Practice. Samuel is currently enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering.
