Carlos Fernandez Lence is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Senior Research Chemist 2 at Charnwood Discovery since November 2014, focusing on contract chemistry for drug discovery programs and possesses Prep-HPLC expertise. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Scientist at Scafell Organics Ltd, producing organic reagents, and as a Research Scientist at Pharminox, where Carlos engaged in a project to enhance Temozolomide's drug profile. Additional experience at KuDOS Pharmaceuticals involved contract synthetic work and participation in developing a clinical candidate for Olaparib, a significant cancer treatment, resulting in a published research paper. Carlos began the career as an Analytical Chemist at Brewing Research International, where contributions to method development led to further publications.
