Lester Khoo

Lester Khoo has extensive work experience in various leadership and advisory roles. Lester is currently serving as the Director of the International Affairs Office at CPF Group since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Assistant Vice President of Investment and Business Development at CPF Group from June 2022 to December 2022. From June 2021 to May 2022, Lester worked as the Principal Advisor for the Asia Pacific region at The College of Law Australia. Lester also served as the Group Director of International and Acting Pro Vice Chancellor International at Auckland University of Technology from 2019 to 2021. Lester's other past roles include Director of International Relations and Development, Director of International Projects, and Board Member at Auckland Grammar School. Lester has also held the position of Vice Chairman at ASEAN New Zealand Business Council. Lester's earlier experiences include serving as the Director of APEC Voices of the Future New Zealand and working as a Business Development Manager at various organizations such as a Management Consultancy and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. Prior to that, they worked as a Management Consultant in the Gas Business Unit at PTT Group and held the role of Regional Manager covering Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand at Study Group.

Lester Khoo has a BA, LLB degree from Victoria University of Wellington, with a focus on Arts (English Literature), Languages (Mandarin Chinese), and Employment Law. Lester also has a Graduate Diploma in Business from Auckland University of Technology, specializing in Human Resources Management. Lester holds a Masters of Management degree from Massey University, with a concentration in Dispute Resolution. Lester also completed the Oxford Programme on Negotiation at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. In addition, they have a Certificate in Thai Language from Chulalongkorn University and is an Enrolled Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, having completed their studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Lester's educational background includes a period of schooling at St Patrick's College, Wellington.
