Carlo Borioli

Carlo Borioli, Ph.D has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Carlo is currently the Director of Product Engineering for Europe and India at Chart Industries, Inc. since March 2021. Before that, they served as the Technical Manager - Cryogenic Division at VRV Group from May 2014 to March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Foster Wheeler Italiana as a Senior Pressure Vessel Engineer from December 2013 to May 2014 and as a Pressure Vessel Engineer from September 2008 to December 2013, where they were responsible for the design of pressure vessels. Carlo also gained research experience at Media Lario Technologies as a Researcher in 2008, focusing on electroforming and electropolishing of Nickel mandrels and optimization of Nickel electrochemical deposition. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Teacher of "Production of Materials" at Polo Chimico della Lombardia from April 2008 to June 2008.

Carlo Borioli, Ph.D, obtained their Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Materials Engineering at both the Politecnico di Milano and Instituto Superior Técnico, from 1997 to 2004 and 2002 to 2004 respectively.
