Matthew Anderson

Matthew D. Anderson serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Charter Brokerage LLC since August 2006. Prior to this role, Anderson held the position of Senior Tax Counsel at Shell Oil Company from 1998 to 2006, focusing on trading operations in North America, including responsibilities in direct income taxes and transfer pricing. Anderson's career also includes significant experience in international trade consulting as a Senior Manager at Thomas International Group and roles in Customs and International Trade practices at Deloitte & Touche and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Earlier, Anderson was a Legislative Aide in the U.S. Senate from 1990 to 1993, specializing in budget, trade, and appropriations issues. Educational credentials include a J.D. in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Alabama.
