Katie Whalen

Katie Whalen is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications roles across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Charter Next Generation since January 2024, Katie previously held multiple positions at Nouryon from October 2018 to 2023, including Senior Global Communications Manager and Global Corporate Communications Manager. At Nouryon, Katie led integrated communication projects to support business strategies and partnered with the executive team to enhance the company’s messaging. Earlier in the career, Katie was the Global Business Communications Manager at AkzoNobel, focusing on internal and external strategies across North America. Additionally, Katie spent over eight years at GTI Energy, where significant initiatives included managing a clean energy campaign in collaboration with the US Department of Energy. Katie holds a B.A. in Communications, Advertising, and Marketing from Marquette University.
