Alan Washington

Alan Washington has a diverse background in real estate, education, and economic development. Alan has held leadership positions in various organizations, including their current role as President and CEO of Charter Schools Development Corporation. Alan is responsible for expanding the impact of CSDC by building relationships, fostering a growth mindset, meeting business objectives, and strategic planning. Prior to CSDC, they served as an Executive of Real Estate at Success Academy Charter Schools, where they developed and executed a multi-year real estate expansion strategy. Alan also served as the Managing Director of Real Estate and Economic Development at Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, overseeing significant growth and major policy initiatives. Alan's earlier experience includes co-founding and managing Campus Housing Partners, where they focused on financing, developing, and managing student housing. Overall, Alan's work experience demonstrates their expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and real estate development.

Alan Washington attended Dartmouth College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Alan then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Real Estate Development from New York University. Prior to that, they completed their schooling at The Pingry School.
