Mike Flood Jr

Mike Flood Jr. has extensive experience in public service and skilled trades. Serving with the Charter Township of Orion since 2010, Mike holds multiple roles including Township Board Representative for the North Oakland Transportation Authority and several other committees, as well as being a Township Trustee. Mike has also contributed as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Orion Veterans Memorial. Prior to their public service career, Mike worked at the GM Truck Group in Pontiac for four decades, holding various positions including Assistant Chief Engineer for the Powerhouse and co-champion of the GM/UAW Quality Network. Mike started their firefighting career as a volunteer firefighter with the Charter Township of Orion in the late 1960s. Education includes apprenticeships and degrees in boiler operations and management training from Oakland University and Oakland Community College.
